Flag Champs helps youth flag football coaches build, print, and share their plays. This page says what we keep, who sees it, and how to have it deleted.

Accounts are for adults

Accounts are for adults 18 and older: coaches, and parents or guardians who view their team's plays. Kids never get accounts.

What we keep

Your name, your email address, and your password, stored only as a one-way hash we can't read. If you sign in with an emailed link, we keep nothing more.

What you and your team create: teams, playbooks, formations, plays, installs, scripts, prints, and the season's roster. We also keep which teams you're on and your role on each.

Rosters and kids

A roster holds first names or nicknames only, with an optional jersey number and positions. It never holds a last name or an email address.

Coaches can add notes about a player that only coaches see. A season's roster is for coaches; parents see its names, numbers, and positions only if a coach shares it, and never the notes.

We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. A parent or guardian can ask the coach, or us at support@flagchamps.com, to remove their child's roster entry. Removing a player deletes their entry right away.

Who sees what

Your team's members see its playbook according to their role: owner, coach, coordinator, or player (a parent or guardian). Members' email addresses are visible only to the team's owner and coaches.

Coaches' notes on plays and players stay with coaches. They're never shown to parents, printed, or included in a share link.

Share links

A coach can share the playbook, an install, or a single play with a link. Anyone with the link can view those plays, without an account.

A share link shows plays and position names only: no roster, no notes, and no member names or email addresses. Share links aren't listed in search engines, and a coach can revoke one at any time.

How we measure use

To see which features get used and where Flag Champs gets in the way, we count how it's used: pages opened, and actions like saving a play, printing an install, copying a share link, or playing a shared play. A signed-in account is counted by an account number, never by name or email address.

Share links are counted too, without an account: we see that a link was opened and which kind it was, never the link itself. We don't collect your team's plays, rosters, or notes this way, and we don't record what you type.

Occasionally, to fix a problem, we may record a small sample of visits to see where something went wrong. Text on the screen and anything typed are hidden in those recordings.

Cookies and your browser

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in. No ads, and no tracking across other sites.

Some preferences, like a list view or playback speed, are kept in your browser on your device. If an editor has unsaved changes, a copy stays in your browser until you save, discard it, or sign out. The random id we count visits by is kept there too, not in a cookie, and a new one is made when you sign out.

Service providers

We use trusted service providers to host the site, store your account and team data in the United States, send sign-in and invite emails, and count how the app is used. They process data only to run Flag Champs.

We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't use it for advertising.

Seeing or deleting your data

We keep your account and your team's content while you use Flag Champs. To see what we hold about you, or to delete your account or a team's data, email support@flagchamps.com. Deleted data leaves our backups within 90 days.

Changes

When this policy changes, the date above changes with it. For a significant change, we'll let account holders know by email first.
